The Haymaker

  • 2 oz. Eight Oaks Vodka
  • 3 Mint Leaves
  • 1 1/2 oz. Home Made Ginger Syrup
  • 2 oz. Pear Nectar (Goya brand is easiest)
  • Ginger Ale

Muddle 2 mint leaves in bottom of your glass. Fill with ice and add vodka, ginger syrup, pear nectar and top with ginger ale. Garnish with mint and pear slice.

 

To make Ginger Syrup:

Bring water to boil, add equal parts sugar and stir until dissolved. Turn off heat and add fresh ginger root (sliced) let cool, strain and store in refrigerator in an air tight container for up to two weeks.
